Preface: This section is designed to help you with issues not addressed in the instruction manual. At this time, the error message that may appear on your screen is the 9.9 Ω error message. It is the most discussed error and can occur for two specific reasons: 1) The coil head is fried; 2) The center pin has dropped in Version 2.0 (see version 2.0).

Version 2.1 ~ The 2.1 design is quite a bit different than the Version 2.0 with the drip well and connection area allowing space for Kanger BCC atomizer devices. Although, in my opinion, the base is a bit of a pain to remove from the Vamo body connection area without the assistance of pliers; however, Kanger BCC atomizer devices it will work with issue. An alternative to solve the base issue is to use the 510 to eGo adapter that allows easy Kanger base removal. If you experience the center pin dropping in the V2.1, please let me know. Thank you!

9.9 Ω Issue: This may occur because your coil head is worn out or fried from an accidental high voltage or wattage setting. First change out the coil head or atomization devise. This should remedy the problem. Yes, it is that easy. :-)

Version 2.0 ~ Vamos are the most wonderful, affordable variable voltage / variable wattage mod for electronic cigarettes, at least in my opinion. They are highly favored by e-smokers from all corners of the planet. However, as electronics go, they do have their issues.
The most common issue is the center pin losing its integrity because of a couple of reasons: 1) The o-ring holding it in its position has worn out; hence needs replacing; 2) The atomization device you are using may have a center post that has pushed the Vamo's center pin in too far making it impossible to make a proper connection the next time you insert another atomomization devise. This frequently causes an error message of 9.9 Ω to appear on your screen.
In order to overcome these issues, through internet searches, the findings have have rather helpful information. Although not a definite solution, it is recommended because of the frequency this issue occurs. The following link offers a step by step resolve that may be helpful to you: Vamo-OHM-Error-Fix
